Izzy's Christmas Dance Recital

Izzy's Christmas dance recital was the week before Christmas. They practice for a couple of months for this big day! Izzy did so well at practices, she got to be front and center! BUT As soon as Santa walked in and sat on the front row (which they weren't expecting) it went down hill fast! Izzy is VERY afraid of Santa, once he sat down she melted into a frozen position and didn't move!

They were supposed to get inside those giant stockings and she just stood there so I got up and tried to help her get in, and she just started BAWLING! Then once she started bawling like 4 other girls started bawling!! It was kinda funny! She didn't dance for the first half of the recital, but my dad got Santa to say Hi to her, and after that she loosened up and got up and danced.

She follows her teacher VERY well, she does a really good job!

This is their "girl feet" only boys stand with their feet parallel girls always turn out, which Isabel tells me frequently.

I almost didn't put this picture on because I really look quite hideous, but I decided Olivia's cuteness out weighed my hideousness haha!! Olivia came to cheer on her sister! She loves watching Izzy dance.

Christmas Dresses

The girls wore their Christmas dresses to church today and they looked so adorable! I really wanted cute pictures of them in their dresses, but believe it or not these are the best ones I got! Hehe even though they are wild I LOVE THEM!

Santa at Macey's.

Grandma Kenna was shopping at Macey's and called us to tell us Santa was at Macey's. We didn't make it to the Mall this year. ( I don't really like that Santa anyways) so we ran over to see Santa. These guys were too cute!

I love how Mrs Claus moved the candy cane up to try to get Liv to look at the camera. I think she's going to be a wig and beard puller when she grows up!

Yes, sitting on Santa's lap is painful. I'm just glad we actually got her on it this year. We told her she had to tell him what she wanted if she wanted to get any toys!

*LET IT SNOW!*

Today was the first REALLY GOOD snow this year! Isabel begged me ALL MORNING to play in the snow, so finally I gave in, bundled them up, and took them out in the snow. Isabel was SOOO HAPPY to be playing in the snow!! She kept saying I LOVE THE SNOW!

Liv couldn't move very well in her snow clothes... she would get stuck in one spot and start screaming... I think this was THE ONLY smiling pic. (well she's smiling under her binky haha)

I didn't even teach Izzy about Snow Angels. She ran out and the first thing she did was start making snow angels all over the yard! She'd yell " MOM I made a snow flake! Take a picture!! " I think she must of learned it from a Christmas movie haha!
This was her effort in making a snowman. Hopefully Trev will help her make a real one tonight!

I was getting Liv out of her snow clothes when Iz yelled, "MOM, I can do a snowflake on the front!" Glad I was just in time to get a picture!

Here are some fun and random pics I never posted while on my blogging hiatus over the summer, I was looking through our pics and decided I'll post some every now and then... these girls are too cute and too funny!

My parents were kind enough to take us on a trip to St. George over the summer to stay at my Aunt and Uncles house! Their house is the best to vacation at! They have an adorable play room under the stairs full of fun stuff. They have like EVERY princess dress you can imagine. Each morning Iz would strip off her pjs and put a new dress on... she loved it! She tells everyone that's her new house when ever she sees pictures of their house in St. George.. haha we wish!
Trev was awesome and got a pic of Liv playing like this with her toys one day... she had done this herself!! She couldn't pick which binky she should suck on so she picked them both... too funny!

O Christmas Tree

I decided we should put the tree up Thanksgiving morning! I am sooooo excited for Christmas this year I couldn't wait any long... I think I've been listening to Christmas music since November started! The girls were so excited! Iz loved it last year, and this is the first year Liv knew something was going on! Izzy was very excited, she said mom take a picture of us in front of the tree!! And they both said CHEESE, you can almost hear them saying it in this picture, what beautiful cheesy grins!

I'm so glad Izzy was into posing for the camera this day!! Ya never know if she's going to or not! I think she was feeling especially beautiful because she picked out her own outfit.

Liv waddled around after everyone and climbed up everything... She loved it!

Izzy was so glad Daddy was helping us, she gave him a big kiss!

The girls were soooooooooooooooooooooooo HELFUL getting the tree put together! I'm glad they loved it- It was a lot of extra work with two helpers.

Me and the girls putting on the ribbon... it was a little crazy getting it from being strung across the room to around the tree.And these are pictures of our tree last year, because I forgot to take pictures right after this year, and it's already mostly bauld on the bottom 3 feet haha! Same tree... different year... haha

Thankgiving2009

I did horrible taking pictures this day! We had a great dinner at the Wagners with all the Hansons and I was so glad my parents joined us! It was a great day! Thanks everyone!
